Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey Weintraub is a managing partner of Kamerow, Weintraub & Swain, LLP, a Rockville, MD-based full-service accounting firm. He has been with the firm (formerly known as Harab, Kamerow & Associates, P.C.) since 1969 and provides client services in the area of taxation, accounting, deferred compensation, and management services.
Jeffrey has served as a member of the
|
accounting faculty of Montgomery College, Prince Georges' Community College, and the University of Maryland. In addition, he has lectured at a number of continuing professional education classes and has been a frequent speaker at professional conferences and seminars. He has published articles in the area of deferred compensation, taxation, and the accountants' management function in the medical service arena.
Jeffrey attended American University and graduated in 1969 with a B.A. in Accounting. He pursued further studies in accounting at Benjamin Franklin University and passed the CPA exam in 1973.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Public Accountants, the Association of Practicing Certified Public Accountants, and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a board member of the Managing Partner council of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs. He has also been active in and served on the Board of Trustees of various local charitable organizations. Most recently, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland Education Foundation.
Married for 30 years, Jeffrey is the proud father of two children and is an avid sports fan.
